The Islands of Sandals Resorts

There are 15 Sandals resorts in six different countries in the Caribbean.  Below is a bit about each of these countries and a list of where the Sandals resort(s) are located.

All of these countries are English speaking. This is great for North Americans, because there are no communication problems while they are relaxing on their vacation or honeymoon.

Sandals resorts are all for adult couples only and are all-inclusive.  This means that all your food is included at multiple themed restaurants (Caribbean, French, Italian, Japanese, American and more) and all your drinks; including top-shelf alcoholic beverages. Entertainment and lots of activities are included at each resort; things like Hobie Cats, paddle boards, kayaks, snorkeling and SCUBA diving. Even transfers to and from the airport are included, as well as tips at the resort.

For the snorkeling, they don’t just hand you snorkeling equipment and point you toward the beach.  They take you out in a boat, if you wish, to a nice snorkeling spot, where you’re sure to see some beautiful sea life.  For SCUBA, they offer both a morning and an afternoon dive, using top-of-the-line Newton dive boats.  Some of the resorts even include glass bottom boats, water skiing and golf.

Every Sandals resort is on one of the best beaches in the Caribbean with lush, tropical grounds.  All of the rooms have romantic beds and nice furnishings, while the suites are much larger with space to spread out and often come with a whirlpool tub; perfect for a bubble bath for two. In the top suites, you can choose an unobstructed view of the ocean, a Jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, a private plunge pool or all of the above.  Some are cute round Rondoval suites.  These top suites also include the services of a butler, who will turn your five-star experience into a six-star experience, with lots of special romantic surprises along the way.

The Islands

Antigua

Antigua was one of the most important British colonies in the Caribbean. This magnificent coral-ringed island has since become a much-loved destination where travelers often return for its natural beauty. Antigua’s many beaches—as many as there are days in a year—leave no visitor wanting. The secluded white beaches beckon you, whether you’re snorkeling, waterskiing, sailing or just soaking up the sun. This island paradise combines magnificent resorts, impeccable service, bursting hotel nightlife, and pristine, aqua-blue waters combined with lustrous sands and soothing trade winds. Antigua vacations will help you relax, restore your sense of peace, and keep you coming back for more.

The Bahamas

In the Bahamas, discover a spectacular chain of hundreds of islands, each with its own distinctive charms and striking geography. There’s Paradise Island, where world-class resorts line vibrant beaches teeming with evening activities. Nassau is a bustling city, while nearby Cable Beach is a two-mile stretch of stunning coastline where plenty of fun is to be found. In contrast, the Out Islands of the Bahamas offer a more secluded, sheltered experience.

Nassau, Bahamas

New Providence Island, with Nassau as its hub, and Paradise Island, located just a stone’s throw away, all lie within a graceful constellation of islands arcing south east from the coast of Florida. The unique blend of international glamour and tropical ambiance gives the vacationer the freedom to do absolutely everything or absolutely nothing at all.
