If you have a set budget and have decided that the quality and inclusions of a romantic Sandals Resorts vacation or honeymoon are really what you want, how do you stay within your budget? Here I share three money saving tips that will help you maximize your vacation.
Time of Year – this is the most important, because prices and promotions change throughout the year. The high season is the summer and any holiday; spring break, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc. The low season is the fall. The best prices and promotions are usually from September through November.
Sandals Royal Caribbean Rooms
Different Rooms – you want to have a very good time in a very good suite, but you can’t afford to stay a full week in an Over the Water Private Island Butler Villa with Infinity Pool at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Jamaica. What do you do? You can split it up by staying in two different rooms; one with a lower cost followed by the one you really want. Start off with four nights in a newly renovated Windsor Beachfront Club Elite Room with Balcony Tranquility Soaking Tub and then switch on the fifth night to the Over the Water Private Island Butler Villa with Infinity Pool or the Over-the-Water Private Island Butler Honeymoon Bungalow. This could potentially save you $9,200 or more!
You’ll spend your first few nights getting over your jet lag and familiarizing yourself with the resort. You’ll look forward to slipping into your own private pool or slipping into the ocean from your private deck to share kisses, while your butler prepares your lunch on your private patio. Can’t you just picture yourself there?
St. Lucia Sandals Resorts
Different Resorts – you have your heart set on Sandals Grande St. Lucian, but you really can’t afford a full week there. Rather than shortening your stay in St. Lucia, split it up to save money by staying at two different resorts. Sandals Halcyon Beach is the least expensive of the three St. Lucia Sandals Resorts, so stay there for your first three nights and then move to Sandals Grande St. Lucian for your last four nights. Sandals Resorts will even take care of your transportation between the resorts, so you won’t have any added expenses when you do this.
There is a lot of fine tuning that can be done to stay within a reasonable budget for a Sandals destination wedding, honeymoon or simply a romantic vacation. But, please be aware that splitting your stay between different rooms or different resorts is a complicated process and can’t be done on the Sandals website. It really takes a travel consultant that is a Sandals expert to make this a reality.
