I’m unsure where to start — I don’t usually leave reviews on Yelp, but Sheila’s work on our honeymoon absolutely deserves one. I’ve since referred her to multiple close friends because of the quality of her work.
From our initial call, I was a bit skeptical about working with a honeymoon planner. I didn’t even realize that was an actual vendor! When wedding planning, it’s easy to get caught in markups, people trying to sell you anything, and the general hubbub of it all. But Sheila was a true professional — she answered my questions thoughtfully and carefully and completely changed my mind during that first call. What I initially thought was a service we didn’t need quickly became something we were excited to continue using for all of our future trips.
She handled all of our accommodations, bookings, tours, and hotels. She even left notes for hotel staff letting them know it was our honeymoon and gave us insider tips and tricks for places she had visited herself. It was such a joy working with Sheila — she gladly worked through the iterative process of adjusting our honeymoon to be exactly what we wanted. No frills, no complaints. Just clear communication and total professionalism.
Like I mentioned, we refer her to many friends now. We used her for our honeymoon last year and had an amazing time in both Croatia and Slovenia enjoying such a unique and romantic trip. Now we have memories that will last a lifetime.
I’ll also add that, as a Type A planner, I was reluctant to let go of the control I’m used to having — especially for a trip as big and important as our honeymoon. But there was something so exciting about having a fully built itinerary and discovering little surprises along the way.
